Whooping Cranes Migrate Through ND
Residents throughout North Dakota are enjoying an early spring and so are some rare birds that are traveling through the state Whooping cranes are about to soar overhead as they migrate back home to Alberta Canada.

I wouldnt be surprised if we see sightings showing up shortly in the next week or so depending on the weather Whooping cranes are less likely to continue their migration in conditions like today but due to the species significant population growth over the past half century sightings have become more frequent.
They were just beautiful And I have never seen em before just pictures and and stuff And I quick ran for my camera and I didnt get a chance to get a picture but then they flew up across the lake.
